About the Role:

The Hotel Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest satisfaction within the hotel environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. The housekeeper contributes directly to the guest experience by providing a welcoming and spotless environment, which supports the hotel's reputation and operational success. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with environmentally friendly cleaning products and sustainable practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Certification in hospitality or cleaning safety standards is a plus.
• Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and conference rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or inventory shortages to the management team promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure timely room readiness and exceptional guest service.
